Team ISLAGIATT Ski to Sea 2008

The weather and conditions couldn't have been better for the 2008 Ski to Sea multi-sport relay race from Mt. Baker to Bellingham this year. Laura Valaas connected me with Team ISLAIATT (It Sounded Like a Good Idea at the Time). The event was an awesome experience this year. Chad and I had fast skis and good races. I won and Chad finished 8th to give our teams a strong start. Team ISLAGIATT was one of the coolest teams I have been a part of. We celebrated in the afternoon with excellent brats and a great local band, 'The Kooks' at one of the neighbors houses. Check out results at www.skitosea.com

We saw a bear on the drive up to the parking lot, you know it is going to be a good weekend when you see a bear (with out getting mauled). This guy looked like he had just woken up and was pretty thin.
